They're down to just over 30%.

In the context of an Intel discussion, it might be more interesting to compare UAW car makers to non UAW car makers. There were the "big three", but consumers were buying from was the the big "one" - the UAW.

They've gone from 90%+ revenue share to about 50% revenue share.

In the course of that journey, they've gone from being hugely profitable to approaching bankruptcy.

A lot of people here think it could never happen to Intel, but what do you have to say about their loss of nearly 40% of the market for 4-way servers? AMD's gone from 0% to nearly 40% of the very most profitable segment of the computer chip business in 5 years - and all of that share has come from Intel.

What has happened to Intel as a corporation that allowed that to take place?

Next quarter, AMD will be doubling the amount of manufacturing space it has - and that's been the only thing holding them back, until then.
