Why exactly is Murtha suddenly such a fool? I honestly know little about his record. So this isn't a change in his thinking? Was he against this from the beginning? Regardless, the rush to damn him is not attractive, imo. Attacking is a sign of weakness- either intellectually or in a position. I am equally critical of both sides in this. There is an amazing ability to be blind to the plank in one's own eye. (Nadine, you started your post with "Murtha is a fool"... and ended with " disingenuous". That is such a perfect example of what I think diminishes communication. It immediately says to me, Rambi, you dumb broad ....)
