Ted, Too funny, Harris. This is what has your undies in a bind? LOL.

The X was nothing. But the CNN rep's answer to the caller was something else.

I could barely understand what he was saying but from what I got, the conversation evolved as it became clearer the woman was an idiot. She wasn't happy to simply lodge her complaint but she went on and on about how it was immoral to put an X over the VP; that he was sacred. I think the guy tried to explain to her in the beginning it was a mistake but she wasn't having it. Eventually, it sounded like he got frustrated and said something about Cheney and Bush lying.

CNN may not like the way he handles consumer complaints........I suspect he did not follow their guidelines........ but I've been on the receiving end of fruitcakes like her, and after a while, you try to get a supervisor on the line, or you hang up. Callers like her become unmanageable.

Having said that, you've got to know that that's the way a lot of Americans are thinking. At times, even I am surprised at how virulent people feel. That's why I asked you yesterday why you think so many people are against Bush/Cheney? What that means to you?
