false prophet john c. hagee the liar said:
“We believe God has spoken clearly, saying, ‘He Who Blesses Israel I will Bless and He Who Curses Israel I Will Curse.’ For Evangelical Christians that’s clear enough. We stand with Israel through thick and thin,” he said.
in other words, what you're really saying is that it doesn't really matter if you share any values with the kingdom of the beast or not. the beast has convinced you that you MUST worship israel at all costs, through "thick and thin", no matter how much evil they perpetrate upon the world.
just like the lying serpent, you present only part of the truth, mr. hagee.
while you cannot find the words, 'He Who Blesses Israel I will Bless and He Who Curses Israel I Will Curse' anywhere in the sacred scriptures, i could see how one could arrive at that conclusion.
there's just one catch, mr. hagee. like the cunning serpent you forgot to tell us the rest of the story:
Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself... (Hosea 10:1) I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman (John 15:1)
Christ declares himself to be the true Israel. notice the prophet says the false israel (antichrist) brings forth fruit to himself.
three verses later Christ God says:
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (John 15:4-5)
so without abiding in Christ the true vine, the true Israel, you can do nothing. the kingdom of "israel" which is being gathered in the middle east does not abide in Christ Jesus, demonstrating through the clear testimony of scripture that they are the 'empty vine' who brings forth fruit to themselves. if you abide in the 'empty vine' -- the false Israel of Hosea 10:1 -- the antichrist, rather than the true vine Christ Jesus, what is the result?
If a man abide not in me (i.e. the true vine/true Israel), he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. (John 15:6)
is this not what we see? do we not see men gathering all the withered branches (those who do not abide in Christ) into the fiery furnace of babylon, to be burned?
...saith the Lord, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem. (Isaiah 31:9).
now the scriptures also tells us that he who do not abide in Christ is "cast forth as a branch".
do tell O blessed Isaiah!
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet. (Isaiah 14:12-19)
false prophets such as john c. hagee encourage people to worship the antichrist--the false israel, the empty vine, bringing a curse upon themselves.
i worship and bless the true Israel, the God-man Jesus Christ, who truly has seen God his Father. for Israel means "seeing God".
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. (John 1:18) Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. (John 6:46) I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. (John 8:38) |
