Our own loan went from 500 a month minimum to 800+ month and still climbing. That is on a 160K loan and we did not come close to getting the bottom in rates either. Add in property taxes (ours are enormous) and you have a problem for anyone who remotely stretched. It is a mistake to think this will not matter to many. Mish
