So I just talked to Chris Bogart at CGE. ++ No word from lab yet, tho he is optimistic it is in Nov. He's beginning to regret telling people when to expect results, as he's been spending a lot of time fielding calls from people worried about the no-news. ++ They have 1 mill in bank. If initial drill results disappoint, they will drill again. Won't have to dilute shareholder value to do so. ++ They did not know about water well holes until after they had signed the memo of understanding w/ Gonzales. First learned about the property from geo friend of Carden. The old mine from the 30's or 40s is still around and intact, in that they could walk into it, and see some nice gold from which they were able to take purchase-inducing samples. ++ It was after this that they received drill logs from Gonzales noting his own gold-finds. The water well-holes were a "bonus." ++ They do not have a full-time IR person. Bogart does IR, but he is also a founder and wears a lot of hats. They want to save money until they get good drill results and a wave of new money. This partly explains to me why CGE is not big in promo dept. They have one overextended person with IR as part of his job, and he evidently does hunt and peck on the keyboard. Take away quick and easy email facility and you take away a prime avenue , IMHO. He did say that every mining analyst in Vancouver knew of them tand thought they had a great target. He said CC was different from the others, in that he did Due Diligence before contacting them, whereas it is usually the other way around.
