That's my current pet theory. That the changes in the bankruptcy laws will be one of the most prominent campaign issues in 2008, if not next year too. Republicans will be thrown out en masse if the Democrats can produce a suitably charismatic candidate (NOT Hillary Clinton or John Edwards)
