Re: "the right ran to the USSC to prevent a recount."

Gee, isn't it terrible to allow the court to adjudicate? Not.

Especially, when that's not the way it works with the Supreme Court. Bush's Supreme CT end run is like the guy whose been caught screwing up by his boss and runs to his boss's superior because he and the superior [Scalia] have been friendly with each other. It was the beginning of the scam that was to be the Bush administration......which, trust me, shall go down in infamy, assuming we remain a democracy.

A republican conspiracy to prevent registered blacks from voting didn't happen, to my knowledge. If the charges held water you can be sure the left would be winning in the courts.

Where have you been? The charges did hold water.......that's why J. Bush revamped the electoral system in FLA.

Re: "I am opposed to the teaching of Intelligent Design as part of a science program at public schools. If you all want..."

Lumping me in with Christians is your logical error here.

Innocent mistake.......religious and reactionary fundamentalists appear to run your party.

Later you've claimed "you all" are little Carl Roves. I noted that "all" is a lot of folks, and that your statement indicated the depths of your bias. You replied..."not at all," followed by a description of your view of Roves activities which does not begin to touch upon my point. Ok then. I still think "all" is a lot of folks to stereotype at once. I still think you might be wise to censor your speech.

My attitude: birds of a feather flock together. There have been repeated examples of corruption and dishonest GOP gov't throughout the country during the past 5 years........too numerous to count. In fact, there have been so many cases I would assume what honest GOPers are left would have distanced themselves from the party long ago. When they have not, then I must further assume that those people are corrupted as well.......like the guys here on the thread. If you guys don't want to be lumped in with the corruption and Karl Rove, then stand up and be counted. If not, don't be surprised if you are tarred and feathered by the same brush. BTW its a very short leap from partisan corruption to personal corruption as evidenced recently by Delay, Scanlon, Libby and Abramoff.

Yes, it is amusing that are ready to go to "war" using tactics you decry on the other hand, and I'm glad you're glad I'm amused.

You all are a threat to this democracy. In that context, going to war does not seem so extreme.

Re: "Dishonest and corrupt behavior needs to be identified and stopped before its allowed to go too far."

Surely. In 2000 we identified Gore corruptly asking for an unfair counting method. For all the angry voices, little else was established. The remembered irritating angry ranting may well have contributed to further Democrat losses in the next two elections.

Nonsense. Deal with your own corruption first before you start determining what's corruption in others. Do you really want me to give you a list of all the corrupted GOPers who have been indicted or who have been sentenced during the past 5 years? Why don't you spare yourself the embarrassment.

But, you just go on taking pages from the supposed book belonging to just the righties.

Trust me, its only their aggressive tendencies, not their corruption and dishonesty and spendthrift ways that I have adopted.
