Magic is an infinite resource too! So is denial... I drove a 1966 Mustang with a 289 and a 4bbl carb the other day. It REALLY hauls ass! Gets about 10 mpg and blasts pollution like mad. When it was new, a gallon of gas cost 28 cents. In 1999, a barrel of oil cost $10. Things will change, but maybe not in a way you like.
