The Energy bill was a disgrace, I blame the entire house and senate for not wanting to expose each others pork projects, turning a blind eye to each States pork has got be challenged.

Its not just that they are blind......its the games they are willing to play to fool us. For months, people have complained about the two bridges that go to nowhere in Alaska. I think the total bill for them is nearly 1/2 billion dollars. They were being pushed by Stevens, a senator from Alaska, who is called the king of pork.

Finally, in response to the outcry, the bridges were removed from the latest pork bill. However, they aren't gone. The money was moved into a general fund which will then be transferred to Alaska's general fund. So nothing was saved. Never has Congress been this blatant....it comes, in part, from one party controlling all three branches of the gov't. It also shows how corrupted the GOP has become. That's why I feel so strongly about what's happening. This is not business as usual.
