Good for you. Still, it is up to the states to determine how delegates are selected. There is nothing that allowed the USSC to over rule the state supreme court. Fair or not, that is what the Constitution says.

IIRC, Gore asked for a hand recount in certain counties. I suppose he thought there was a better chance of that than asking for a state wide recount. I am not sure what was so unfair about that, but...

Trying to follow Florida politics always makes my head hurt. I try to avoid that.

FWIW, the fact the USSC voted 7-2 against the Florida Supreme court doesn't prove that Gore's request was inherently unfair. That is an appeal to authority, a common logical fallacy.
