You'd better go back to school on ww2. If you'd done some research you would have found out that because of the isolationist movement in the US and since we were still recovering from the great depression our military was basically in shambles. Left over weapons from WW1, aircraft that were barely functional as fighters, no real long range bombers I could go on. The Japanese on the other hand had been building and modernizing their military for years and also had battle experience with the new weapons in china. This is off topic.
