You don't understand? The point is that a lack of evidence does not equal innocent. It can be said no evidence was found.

The same way Not Guilty does not equate to innocent. It merely means sufficient evidence was not found or presented for a verdict of Guilt.

Do you understand the difference? People can say they found little or no evidence of something. That does not mean that it did not occur.

There are hundreds of people murdered each year without finding anyone guilty. Sometimes people are killed and the body is never found. It doesn't mean it didn't occur. It merely means there was not enough evidence found and presented to reach that conclusion.
