This is the no-excuse quarter when we'll finally have a decent read on how Apple's computer sales really are growing. Even as late as last quarter, Apple was benefiting from artificially-easy Y-o-Y comparisons - and that won't be the case in January.

If the halo effect is real, Apple should top 2 million units; if it doesn't, the halo effect theory can be tossed. The really interesting quarter will then be six months out, when we're looking at a full Q of OSx86 availability. If that doesn't show massive increase in cpu sales, the entire Switcher idea can also be tossed.

Should be fun! Haven't yet taken a fresh position, probably won't until closer to EOY.
