I once saw a wind farm in California in my travels. It definitely is an eyesore. In the case I saw the windmills stretched ENTIRELY across a valley with large mountains on either side (I suppose that channels the wind down the valley). Frankly, I am unimpressed, they are not much to look at and I doubt they provide enough electricity to make it worth the effort and lose the beauty of nature. Course, I am pretty much sold on safe nuclear power, epecially in states with no danger of seismic activity. jdn
