You know what’s an interesting point. A lot the mystique that surrounds Jesus has to do with the violent way he died - he was tortured to death. Now Cheney is advocating torture as US policy - and lets face it it's been US policy for years now - since 9/11. The US has now becoming like the Romans of old. Cheney will just harden world opinion against the US - in the middle east he's creating martyrs.
