The non-partisan 9/11 commission, discussing meetings between Al Qaeda and some Iraqi officials said, and I quote, "But to date we have seen no evidence that these or the earlier contacts ever developed into a collaborative operational relationship. Nor have we seen evidence indicating that Iraq cooperated with al Qaeda in developing or carrying out any attacks against the United States."


If you are going to say:

"We removed an ally of Al Qaida"

Then you need proof that it's true, or you lied. A meeting is not proof of an alliance worthy of an invasion.
