Yeah. That’s why these guys a flown to another country, to a place that doesn't exist, where there is zero oversight, where "torture" is a know technique. Who knows what’s going on at these places. Its the same argument every time. The Romans were the superpower of their time and the torturing they did served a purpose too. Making people disappear to a prison where torture is knowing carried out is a powerful image and motivator. The Christian Religions rely heavily on the image of Jesus dying on the cross - very powerful stuff. Do you wonder where all the suicide bombers are coming from?
