Hi kaka,

Thanks for the information. I too went to the Mall and viewed the TV. However, they had to play video files that were downloaded from Microsoft's web site. These were hi definition files and looked very good. I would have liked to see a demo using cable TV. This way I could have seen how well the picture looked when broadcast as an analog signal. Normally, analog signals don't look very good on plasma tv's.

Also, one nice thing about buy the Dell tv from Costco is that one gets the second year warranty for free...a value of $199. And, as you said, Costco has a much better and, easier to use return policy. than Dell offers. Dell has a 21 day return policy, and starts with the date shown on the shipping invoice.

Please let me know how your nephew likes the tv once it's deliver and he views the picture and hears the sound in his home.
