I always thought that was the case, and you confirmed it. I only wrote about the action since I was born. It gets worse. Woodrow Wilson, another demo, after declaring a "U.S. policy of absolute neutrality", declared war on Germany to kick off US participation in WWI. Germany had not attacked us. 117,000 Americans died - 29,250 per year.
