Dale:

Nomai:

Unfortunately I have been away from stocks for most of the summer due to some family crises (since resolved), so I'm a bit out of touch. What is the Nomai situation?

Do they make machines that read Iomega cartridges? Or, cartridges usable in Iomega machines?

I assume that they do not have any units that read Syquest cartridges, because I doubt that they would be worth developing, given Iomega's and Syquest's relative market shares....

New topic: Syquest Insider holdings:

I did some browsing around the SEC's EDGAR site re Syquest, and all I could find for insider holdings of Syquest is 1,500,000 shares held by Fletcher Asset Management and Alphonse Fletcher Jr., reported to be 9.5% of Syquest's 15,830,753 common shares (not counting future dilutions.....).

Is that the only significant holding by insiders? Or, being a beginning amateur novice on Edgar, did I overlook and miss a bunch of other holdings?

If the new 2.gb Iomega Jaz comes out promptly, I think this will be very hard on Syquest. Unfortunately, a day or so before I read about the 2gb Jaz here, I finally got around to ordering a new Syjet 1.5gb for myself. Sigh.....

As always, thanks for your insights.

Cordially, Roger Folsom
