Competitor?

I was browsing through a quarterly report for CMGI and noticed their @ventures division has invested $7.25M to date, in Advent Solar, Inc. The company has a "back contact cell" version of thin film PV solar panel.

Is anyone familiar with this process/product? Serious competition to ENER?
