I'm still missing something. How is Phoenix or Miami so superior to Houston? And even if you think either is paradise (certainly not to me) are they worth 3-4 times Houston prices? Today perhaps the best mix of low cost and high quality of life might be in places like Austin, Denver and the larger towns in NC?
