Can't speak about Miami, I really wouldn't live there if you paid me.....as far as Phoenix, it's NOT 3-4 times the cost of Houston. Maybe 80% higher for a comparable house. For that you don't have to deal with either humidity or Texans, both are a major plus.....and although my Clowngressman is a major jerk, at least he's not Tom DeLay!

No argument about Austin or NC, I'd live in either one in a heartbeat except that they don't have poker rooms.....
