Sounds like you didn't really read Tejek's posts. Those figures, even just for 1997, of violations of the protection act are stunning. There's no excuse for cutting logging roads into watersheds, wilderness, and ancient forest. We're not talking about tree farms. The wardens of the public lands appear to be in cahoots with the mining & lumber industries, especially in this administration. Why would Joe Public want the Tongass Wilderness logged? No reason. But this administration is selling off what belongs to all of us to their cronies. And you seem to be supporting them.
