Roger, Regarding Nomai, briefly:

It appears that Nomai may have found a way around Iomega's patents and is claiming to be offering a disk that will work with ZIP drives. There's a lot more to the story that you might want to check out. Go to the Iomega threads where investors are really stirred up.

Nomai also makes disks that work with Syquest drives. Syquest recently tried to buy Nomai until Nomai backed out at the last minute. Syquest and Nomai have a number of legal affairs still to work out as a result.
