Just when did we become a third world country?! Starting with the Florida election corruption, the USA has gone on a steady downward path towards third world status: - A botched war begun on botched intelligence and botched each and every step of the way. - Attempts to stifle personal and media freedoms. - Indefinite detainment and torture of prisoners in dark, secret prisons. - Opaque planning processes closed to the public under the guise of presidential privilege and national security. - Compromising of national security for petty political gain. - Massive fiscal mismanagement bordering on malfeasance. - Dismal disaster preparedness and execution reminiscent of non industrialized nations. - Government official corruption on a potentially large scale. Corruption, incompetence, lack of accountability, disasterous fiscal mismanagement, official dishonesty, party nepotism... Sounds more like a despotic third world developing nation than the formally proud United States of America. But, ask a rightist, and he'll tell you (via his FOX-powered, brain-embedded parrot chip): It's Clinton's Fault!
