John;
<We need to get out of Iraq but leaving before the Iraqi government is stable is so foolish that I am surprised anyone is even discussing it>
The longer we stay the more unstable Iraq becomes. That is what the Marine lifer Murtha said. He said that we have become the unrest. You can argue with posters here but to argue against this man who knows the military better than any of the fruitcakes leading this country is unwise.

<As for the 2000 plus military deaths being touted by the press, that's chicken feed>
That's sick - you're a sick man! It's 2000 men and their loved ones. Their wives, brothers, sisters and friends. It's also the far greater number of soldiers and marines who will never be the same again - mentally or from physical handicaps. Perhaps now that we are doing Iraq for the people of Iraq instead of WMD, we should also count the 100,000's of Iraq deaths! Do they count? .....Since you think the deaths there are "chicken feed", perhaps you can be persuaded that the cost to our military in dollar terms is something that is important? Your comments here are some of the saddest I have ever read on this thread - "chicken feed" - go to hell!
