IMO you are reading too much into the news timing. The decision process from onsite-geologist/DST-engineer/Echief takes time. The mud logging and DWL data doesn't mean a whole lot to anyone until the decision is made as to whether to test or not. IMO one week is pretty damn fast. I think even 2 weeks is not bad. Besides, it is a wildcat afterall so there should have been a low expectation of success and high expectation of a duster.
