Stock Hyping on the Internet...

Here is a case study for SMLX - a stock that was 1/32 earlier this year and is now $2.00. Why? A slick campaign or true investment potential? You make the call....

1. First - Where the Stock is promoted: insidetrack.com
Look under Hot Stocks Catagory. Simplex Medical

2. Lets check the SEC filing edgar-online.com

This an excerpt from a13d filing . It details share ownership in a public company. Note that all these guys got many of the shares for under .04 which is quite a deal IMHO.

4. SO stuart Taft owns the hyping site and 450,000 shares he bought at less then a nickle. Think he is selling whenever the volume allows him to sell? Ok next submit a Search on Simplex on the SI boards. siliconinvestor.com

Check messages for those by a Taft... Taft started the board and I traded a post with him. I wrote him an e-mail off line and confronted him with what I found in the SEC filings and he never returned.

5. Read the disclaimer on the www.insidetrack.com and you will see that they could have a position in the stock. That is new.

I don't know but these folks are real close to the line. They could end up in trouble if the right people took a look.... Take a company - get in on the cheap - print money on Nasdaq by using PR newswire and some claims....NASDAQ are you listening? Typical Boca stuff...
