I don't like "you cut this program or I'll cut your pork."

Which is the same as "you support this program or I'll cut your pork."

But the change from "you support this program or I'll cut your pork", to "you cut this program or I'll cut your pork", is positive.

We already had "you support this program or I'll cut your pork." It was labeled as "you support this program (or pork) and I'll support your program (or pork)", but the obvious counterside of that statement is that if you don't support my program I won't support yours.
