Nice try, but no cigar: They had ALREADY seized New England with their political machine, and were in the process of consolidating in New York. The Irish muscled their way into America. They weren't "accepted" until they did.

The Hispanic middle class will establish itself politically as well, as part of the Republican party (if the pointy-headed segment of conservatism will shut up), as part of a rebuilding future Democrat party when they FINALLY kick the filthy traitors OUT of their midst, OR as a new party emerging from the rubble of the total collapse of the Democrat party.

I've heard a lot of stupidity in politics-like John Kerry again today-but nothing compares to reasonable conservatives, foaming at the mouth, and demanding that 8 to 10 million of their fellow American be rounded up and herded into the nearest third world shithole...
