I had a great day today, I hope you did too....:) Notwithstanding the market which I didn't do a damn thing with.. The contractors made great progress with our project today so I was out there.... I am all excited about that..
As for shorting, teach me how with stocks.. :).. Not really.. When I played the futures, I felt most comfortable going short with the SnPs or the later the minis or other indices... Except with gold n silver.... :) BTW, I am thinking seriously of opening another futures account to hedge my longs..
I never shorted gold or silver in my life that I can remember. Hey,that was my bidness, finding Au and Ag prospects and staking claims and putting properties together for fun and profit. :)
BTW, I caught "gold fever" a thousand years ago.. It can't be cured.. It only goes into remission at times..:)
Hard work but it worked, not for the weak of body and mind though, I might add.. :)
So all the while, we just bought coins, bullion, penny stocks, for my old age.. Hey I am there :(.. I better dust off those old certs and coins and bullions to take a trip this winter south of the equator to get young..:)..
So that's the way it went for us on the eastern slope on the last day of 11th month of 05..
