You don't have to use E-Trade to use Second Opinion. The service costs $20 a month. I just decided to give it try this weekend. GEMS is still considered to be a bad investment at this point in time. I can't see how that could possibly change in the face of all the recent selling. On the other hand a patient investor will surely make money. I checked on a number of stocks while I was there including MOT which is the major reason that GEMS declined last Friday. Their rating on MOT is basically short sell it if it rises a few points. That strikes me as pretty risky. But hey I bought more GEMS on Friday, didn't I. Regards, Jeff
