Jak,ECD is a company that's been around in solar a lot longer than advent solar as you must know. Its in its (9th or 10th or ?) generation solar making machine. The roll to roll machine working 7 24hrs. even has a shift for saturday and sundays. Its roll to roll machine produces solar material like newspaper production. It has 3 layers of solar collecting material this provides collecting light at different frequency's. In practical terms getting more solar light on cloudy days.Days Advent would do poorly. Efficiency for advent is no doubt better at brightest part of day for advent. However cost per watt I would expect ECD has advantage.

Jak,the answer your looking for is the stock a "buy" at this price. or ECD's price. I don't know enough about advent solar to even give and good opinion. Company's go up and down every year looking for a trading vehicle advent may be a great buy.It usually depends on price of stock at time. Timing your buy is the more important question ?
