"Worse.......now scientists are worried that the Gulf Stream flow that keeps Europe's climate moderated is starting to deteriorate." They've been worried for a while. There are some signs that the Ocean Transport has been breaking down, especially off the Greenland ice sheets. It isn't a theoretical exercise any more.
