That is not at all what I have been saying today. I have been trying to point out the common thread that has been a problem for the left wing for some time now. The left wing has tried to force litigious decisions on issues that have no finite basis for decision making. They make some short term gains as the level of concern over social issues is raised but in the long run the left wing platform gets bogged down in contention that has no basis for resolution.

I have given several examples but whether we are under God or other wise is not materially discernable. So, attempting to legislate material courses of action on this issue is ludicrous. If you are serious about the live and let live philosophy, you would laugh this issue off and move on to issues of substance.

Likewise, legislating the fate of a fetus that we are unable to determine status is ludicrous. Row v Wade was the most glorious accomplishment of the left wing when it passed, and since has become the anchor with a chain that is too short to sustain the ship at high tide...blub blub blub. It started out as a 'rights' issue. Now we can't decide if a fetus is human or not and whether or not it has rights and if it does, do those rights get trumped by mom or does mom have responsibilities that trump her rights...etc etc etc ... blub.

At what point is sexual orientation and corresponding conduct a legal issue. To my thinking it is only when it involves abuse to another, but look at all the legal issues the left wing is trying to drive into the system. No specific basis for decision making and no substantive constructive societal establishment.

What is the legal basis for limiting the number of spouses? We just did it because it seemed like the most constructive form of core family unit. There is nothing morally wrong about committing yourself to two spouses that I can think of.

The left wing has lost its compass.
