I was just looking over some LT charts on Stockcharts. FWIW: It appears as if the last significant prior peak for silver above the 8.50 mark was in (gasp) 1983 at 14.24. In fact, the last price activity above 8.50 occurred previous to 1985. As I mentioned in this post: Message 21891567 it would appear more difficult to figure out resistances when in such unknown territory.
