How many of you use craigslist.com daily?

I visit craigslist daily on about five of their sites. I can monitor business attitudes from the posts on that site.

I love it because it is internet 1 and will stay that way. unfettered and free. no rules other than those the posters enforce......

God I love internet freedom. I loved internet freedom so much I built an internet company so I could feed my internet addiction.....small but very good we supply internet thru the valley.

the best of free internet that i have found is the following site.

craigslist.com

anyway. craigslist founder Craig Newmark is going to do the same for news sources that he did with craigslist. this is wonderful news. this is great news. this is a chance to be a part of something very big. if Craig Newmark follows the craigslist model for his news service it will open up bloggers as the spokespersons for society. bloggers as the source of news. blog reporters everywhere. from one single source.

needless to say. the news services are not posting this on their news servers much. they all stand to lose millions if the internet is freed up the way it used to be. and they lose control of the news.

they are also giving him little chance of success creating Citizen Journalism. Newmark believes he can do it. craigslist.com has worked very well. i hope he does it.

truth may out.
truth may out.

This Is Great News

sfweekly.com

in my opinion this is worth reading twice. maybe three times. especially the last part. that is the part to reread.

Citizen Journalism

its time has come.

ps: this news was posted to sioux a few days ago by someone other than me. i picked it up off of craigslist a few weeks ago. that is how far ahead that site is. i knew then it was important but after thinking about this a bit more.... i think its monumental. a complete shift that is just beginning to catch on completely. a aware population from the intenet. totally aware of what is happening all around the world. millions all at the same time aware of whats going on. once that sinks in..... instant news from one source. the entire internet.

one globe. think of the power.
