yeah well I've heard that from Barrett before. I don't mind this message, that US schools particularly primary schools need to improve. But I'm sick of his BS so I don't pay attn to anything.

Case in point: Barrett constantly complaining about CA taxes. Except, he conveniently neglects the fact that prop 13 has not only saved intel billions in taxes over the years which they would have paid ****in any other state****, but more importantly, Intel accumulated a real estate windfall in california due to prop 13. All the while, Intel received the benefit of a workforce educated at Ca's excellent and practically FREE university system, funded by taxes intel hardly had to pay.

So Barrett and all these old geezers can high tail it off to Texas for all I care- I've worked in Texas and there is no comparison between the CA workforce and Texas or any of the "cheap states".

As for schools, Chinese and Indian schools are no better than ours, the difference is, they only educate the top candidates.
