Re: Authorities earlier refused to identify the woman but said she was 38.

Le Derniere Heure reported Degauque was born and raised in Charleroi, Belgium. The newspaper quoted her parents as saying that her Moroccan-born husband, Issam Goris, was responsible for her conversion to Islam.

Jean and Liliane Degauque told the newspaper their daughter was brainwashed by Goris.

The U.S. military in Baghdad said that on November 9, a female suicide car bomber attacked a U.S. military patrol just north of Baghdad, killing herself and slightly wounding one soldier.

I think 38 is a bit old to be brainwashed into blowing oneself up in faraway Iraq.... Add to that the fact that thousands of Belgian passports and ID cards were stolen over the past couple of years and it really doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to debunk the whole affair as yet another blague belge.... The official story has it that it was French celebrity judge Jean-Louis Bruguière(*) who "blew it" and tipped French journalists. Belgium somehow is a mercenary state, pandering to Nazi Germany in the 1930s, and to Judeofascism (US and Israel) today --sad, isn't it? I mean, just compare this to what happened in France last month: three weeks of continuous, nationwide urban riots, involving mainly (North) African youths, most of them Muslim. Yet, I don't recall prominent French officials --be it PM de Villepin, Interior Minister Sarkozy, you name him/her-- hinting at terrorists or Islamic jihad or branding the events as an al-qaeda fallout. Quite the opposite: French officials called on Muslim and community leaders to defuse the crisis... But then, unlike Belgium, France has not drifted into the nasty toils of Judeofascism... yet.
