If you don't care about "selling" your ideas, then why are you here? To fight with people and turn them off to democrats and liberals and your own ideas? That seems extremely self defeating- but obviously, you can do what you want to do.

Bush won because he managed to scare the American people enough to make them believe they needed his special brand of protection. What he did will, I think, go down in history as equal to Nixon's "secret plan" to end the Vietnam war. Both men managed to create a crisis of faith in the American people- in terms of their faith in government.

And no, I'm not waiting for anyone to spoon feed me anything. I'm suggesting that the democratic party get it's fractured self together and START SELLING. Because if it doesn't sell itself, people sure as heck aren't going to buy it- and God help us if the people in charge think like you do.
