Chin, what you and liberals in general don't understand is that the American public doesn't dictate foreign policy. The public can pressure the gov't to move in a certain direction but it's up to their representatives and the President to do the responsible thing. As far as foreign affairs goes, the responsible thing isn't necessarily what the public wants. The responsible thing is what safeguards Americans and American interests abroad and at home. If a President does something that's irresponsible or illegal then (through gov't representatives) a President can be impeached (the liberals have already attempted). If however, a President merely makes a foreign policy that's unpopular with the public then the incumbent may risk getting voted out of office in the next election......
