"As for schools, Chinese and Indian schools are no better than ours, the difference is, they only educate the top candidates." There's another difference Lizzie. They each have a population pool of over a billion to draw those "top candidates" from, vs. our 300 million. China graduates more engineers in a year than we do in ten. I think college should be free here to anyone capable of doing the work, paid for by the government through taxes. I'm sure we're losing a great deal of low-income talent. The Bushies are reducing the available loan and grant money, which will just make our competitive situation even worse.
