"I think college should be free here to anyone capable of doing the work, paid for by the government through taxes. I'm sure we're losing a great deal of low-income talent." Why go through all the hassles of getting an engineering or computer science degree and then be outsourced or compete with 500 candidates for one position? Just become a contractor and make a great living in the trades by the time you are 21.
