FOX uses a strategy of mixture of opinion and 'news' to push a particular set of talking points, as scripted by management. News stories are chosen, and angles on the story emphasized, to fit these talking points. Opinion shows are merely meant to bash the liberal point of view while touting the conservative. News is supposed to give you an accurate overall picture of the situation. FOX does not do news. They do entertainment. They supply you with your daily dose of righteous indignation and smug superiority, all while reinforcing your support for the Bush Administration.
