I would love to see a return to that kind of democratic party. One that champions the common folk. What we have seen over the past 25 years is a pandering to elites with special interests; not championing the everyperson who may be feeling pinged by systemic greed and corruption.

Powerful World Religions became corrupt, so we over through them. They were reformed to be more reasonable and purposeful but we remain vigilant.
Then, Powerful Monarchies became corrupt, so we over through them. They were reformed and democratised by enlightened freedom fighters but we are monitor them with caution.
Then, Powerful social authority became corrupt so we over through them to restore them in their service role.
Then Powerful corporations became corrupt and we went to work for them.

Freedom is a game played by the powerful with the hungry.

The history of the world is one of liberating human beings from one form of powerful corruption to another. If you have something to lose, you are not free.
