I think you make my point. I dont think they necessarily picked the greatest threat among the list we used What they picked was the lowest hanging fruit and won an easy war and thus proved to the islamist that we were no paper tiger. But alas winning the peace is something else. I am happy the bastard is gone but having said that we should have been much more prepared or at least aware of what would happen. Lindy Bill said over and over again that there would be flowers for our troops. Didnt quite go down that way and now we have to do next steps from the reality on the ground today which is not as good as the admin says it is and not as bad as the left makes it out. I have always thought of you as a moderate pro-war guy. You must have regrets and misgivings about how this all has gone. I think sometimes that we on the right are afraid to admit fault to guys like chris and geode. Our being wrong on some of this does not make them right on any of it at least not automatically. mike
