I came into today with my short at 1270.10... If I take a long and close it out in the same day, it becomes a day trade and the original overnight position remains intact... but if you want to count it the other way, either way, it still comes out to a loss for the day on the day trade... there's no advantage one way or the other... crunch the numbers and you'll see... GZ
