This article practically compells anyone who thinks they are reasoned and moderate from considering the notion that Bush is the worst President ever, regardless of evidence to the contrary.

The author addressed that point. If the speaker offers reasonable "evidence to the contrary," then it's not hyperbolic:

As for your statements that this is an attack on liberals, note the author's use of the word, "nuance." When was the last time you saw a Bushie trying to foster nuance? That's gotta tell you that the guy is earnest and sincere regarding his stated objective. <g>
